Nurture Album Design
My first major passion project outside of university, Porter Robinson’s album release inspired me mentally and creatively. I loved every single soundtrack and wanted to pay homage using branding from the album’s promotional material. I also gave myself the time limit of producing a single track design every day (16 designs). Each photo is my own, and the squiggles are hand-drawn before being compiled on InDesign.
For the first anniversary of the album’s release, I redesigned the five singles that came with Nurture. Everything was similar to the original apart from the use of vectorised images to create a more graphic effect. I also decided to mirror how the original single album covers looked like.
